WC School

The first co-production of PLATFORM 11+ with the Iberoamerican Schoolyard Stories project. Opening is in Buenos Aires.

WC School is a story about teenagers, about what they think and feel, about the world they live in; about those things they are worried and concerned, about the relationship with adults.
It’s a show for teenagers that use their same language, that doesn’t underestimate them and that attempts to show its reality without prejudices. These stories are based on real experiences that adolescents live every day in the school.

The show is made up from three short pieces in which are treated the most diverse topics such as friendship, love, complicity, sex, violence, drugs, the bond with adults and with peers. All of them are situated inside the Schoolyard.

This texts that are part of this show come from the project developed by ATINA, Schoolyard Stories in Ibero America which it first phase was a playwright based on a research work inside schools.

The cast, the production and the playwright of WC School will be Argentinean, and the direction is going to be English. The opening night will take place in Buenos Aires at the Universidad Popular de Belgrano Theatre House in March and the tour in Pilot Theatre, York will be in May 2010.
