Jukka Heinänen
Born 1974 in Hämeenlinna, he studied theatre, literature and psychology in the universities of Helsinki and Tampere. After his studies he worked as an Assistant director in TV-series (1999-2000) and as the Festival coordinator in Baltic Circle international Theatre Festival (2003-2005). Since 2002 he regularly is teaching courses on dramaturgy partici- pants from high schools to universities. Since 2006 he works as a dramaturge of the Oulu city theatre. He is writing plays and theatre adaptations and also working as a director for adults and children in Finnish professional and ama- teur theatres.
