Laura Naumann
Born in 1989, she studies Creative Writing and Culture Journalism at the University of Hildesheim since 2008. She writes prose, theatre and radio plays. She performed in youth theatre companies, thought about becoming a truck driver and spent a year volunteering at Theater Junge Generation, where she assisted in a theatre for the youngest – production and was commissioned to write a play, which will premiere in Dec 2009 at tjg. She was awarded at Treffen Junger Autoren and invited to the stueckemarkt-workshop at the Berlin Theatertreffen with her play meerrauschenhören. She is stipendiary of Autorenlabor at the Schauspielhaus Düsseldorf and Interplay. Inter- play delegated her to attend the World Interplay Festival of Young Playwrights in Australia in summer 2009.
