About me

• 1980 – 85 Studies of theatre/dramaturgy at Humboldt University, Berlin (East)
• 1985 – 91 development of scripts for movies and compering a programme for children in TV
• 1991 – 2005 renewing the biggest theatre for young audience in Germany (carrousel Theater an der Parkaue) as the chief literary manager and vice artistic director. During this time also working as a playwright and director (productions for children in a combination of acting and puppet playing).
• 1999 – 2008 co-initiator and co-organizer of European theatre projects as „European Schoolyard stories“ and „Magic Net” 1+2 (www.magic-net.eu).
• 2004/05 text-development with 14 playwrights from 12 different countries and involvement as the literary manager during the production of „A European Odyssey“ (with 12 actors from 9 countries)
• 2008 literary manager of Magic-Net-production “One day in Europe” (with the participation of actors from 13 European companies)
• Since summer 2005 freelance working as a director of professional children theatre productions and as a playwright and literary manager (Hedda-award for “Vinterdvale” at Vårt theatre, Molde/Norway for the best theatre-production for children in the season 2007/08)
• Co-initiator and dramaturg of Platform 11+
