Performance "HANDBOOK OF YOUR LIFE"
All the stories brought from the different countries having been developed further during the week in Tallinn will be staged at different stages in the big building of the National Estonian library.
General
1.The National Library of Estonia (henceforth the library) is a publicly operating national, parliamentary and science library.
2.Underage representatives (henceforth the youth) have permission, or more precisely – pleasant obligation to participate in the creation of “The Handbook of Your Life” taking place in the public spaces of the library.
3.The artwork is generated in the framework of international project Platform 11+ and is a result of a week-long working process.
a.Programme Platform 11+ is a network connecting professional theatres from 12 European countries. All participants aim to offer new opportunities for 11-15 year old youngsters to take part in cultural activities.
4.The visitors are cordially invited to experience the only public presentation of “Handbook of Your Life”.
Authors and aims of the handbook
1.The authors of this handbook are 40 youngsters from Czech Republic, Slovakia, United Kingdom and Estonia.
2.The work contains strong creative vibes by the following persons: Anne Türnpu, Anne-Liis Poll, Siret Paju, Inga Vares, Kaja Kann and Arjunan Manuelpillai (London).
3.The aim of the handbook is to refer to the authors’ personal thoughts of their lives, destinies, wishes and future plans, and to do this in an artistically fascinating form for the audience.
4.An additional value is time spent together in a pleasant environment.
Notes on attendance
1.Attendance for the audience is voluntary. Registering to the presentation is free of charge.
2.It is important to be in the right place at the right time.
The PLACE is the Estonian National Library (Tõnismägi 2, Tallinn). The TIME is October 29th at 9pm. Everyone is invited to be a part of the only public presentation of “Handbook of your life” with participants from Czech Republic, Slovakia, England and Estonia.
